How to add a marker to a map – unlisted location

    I want to add a marker to my map, but none of the predefined locations match where I want to position the marker. How can I add a marker to a location that is not in the predefined list? Or, how can I move a marker?

    Hi there,

    The Map Block does not have a way to add custom map pins such as you describe. Pins will need to be dropped on locations that are specified by the block itself.

    I’ve checked a bit closer and I see we use a 3rd party map service called “Mapbox” to power this block and it seems they do not offer an alternate method for determining marker location (like long/lat coordinates) within their tool, so we would not have a way to add this on our end.
