How to add a second domain

I want to keep my current domain name pointing to my WordPress.com site, and add a second domain so it also points to my site. I already purchased my second domain from GoDaddy.
In my Dashboard, Store, My Domains, does the button ‘Map a domain you already own’ replace my current domain name, or add it as a second one?
Please steer me in the right direction so I can have both pointing to my site.

Hi there,
That button under Store > My Domains in your dashboard is exactly what you need. This guide also walks through the steps for pointing that domain to your site: Map an Existing Domain
That won’t replace your current domain name — you can have as many domains pointed to your site as you’d like. However, only one domain name will appear in the browser’s address bar when someone visits your site. The domain name that appears is the one that’s set as your primary domain. Any other domains pointed to your site will redirect visitors to the primary one.
