How to Add “Oval / Rectangular Blocks" with "Name of Posts" to Home Page

    My daughter created a WordPress.com Website for me to use. It’s a blogsite with informative information for Veterans only. She created what she said were “icons” with titles of several posts underneath (which were oversize and she doesn’t remember where she got these icons from, not taking into perspective that I had 19-posts, which would require a “Oval / Rectangular Type Block” with the name of each post in this item to click on. Please understand that I am in my 70s and a Vietnam Era Veteran.

    I have seen on other websites what I am referring to, but unsure what the actual name for these “Oval / Rectangular Blocks” are referred to that has title of posts for the individual who may come to my website to read. Thus, if you know (or have a good idea as to what I am referring to, please feel free to contact me via email at: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    If this is not the correct place to ask a question, please don’t hesitate to respond back to me in a “Positive Manner” and not flat out state that this is not the correct place to ask questions with no referral as to the proper place that I should be asking questions.

    I just checked your website and there was no post displaying in the home page. To display the posts on homepage, please follow this link

    If you want to display features pages (For example, Start Here, About, Contact Us):
    1. Go to Customizer → Theme Options.
    2. Use the three drop-down menus to select the pages you’d like to feature.
    3. Click Save and Publish.

    Hi there,

    It appears you are trying to display the posts on the Frontpage in a grid format. You can use the Latest Posts block on the Homepage and select the Grid View from the block toolbar.
