How to add wp/admin to My Site menu.

    Dear WP
    When opening ‘My Site’ I do not have the same options as my colleague, when we are looking at the same site. She has wp/admin, which allows her to post photos etc onto our website, and for example she has added to the bar under the welcome page so that after home, contact she also has ‘the weirs’ and other drop down menus which open up attractive parts of the website. What am I doing wrong?
