How to assign popup.php to secondary menu in Light of Peace theme

The site I have been asked to work on uses the Light of Peace theme. How do I assign a popup window defined in popup.php to the secondary menu? Is it done using the “Links” option and if so how do I identify the URL to use.

As part of the question I would like to ask if I really need to use the secondary menu with this theme at all or can I just leave it blank.

    Thank in advance

I’m fully sure what you mean or what you are asking for. The theme has a primary and secondary set of configurable navigation. The secondary navigation menu when configured will show in the top right side of the page.

In the Appearance editor there is a file popup.php that defines a popup page providing directions.

How do I make that popup window selectable as a menu item.

If you look at Appearance->Menus you will see how a menu is constructed. Pretty straight forward for published pages and categories but not so clear for this “page” defined by popup.php.

I would just like to open the popup using the secondary menu. I suppose the question still hold regardless of where in the menu you want to invoke it from.

Sorry, I meant I’m not fully sure what you are asking for. Sorry.

You are in the wrong forum for help with that version of the software. http://alphapoulsbo.org/ is a WordPress.ORG blog, not a WordPress.COM one, and you need to be in their forums for appropriate answers.

    Thanks. I’ll do that.
