Hi,
Which theme are you using on the site, and which page template is assigned to the static front page?

Karuna theme, correct?
There are two different page templates available for each static page on the Karuna theme. Which page template is assigned to the page that is your static front page, “Default” or “Full-Width Page?” It may not matter, but I’d like to test each.

According to the Karuna theme guide a static front page with Karuna applied will display the four most recent posts. That’s how it behaved in my test, regardless of the template chosen.
I suspect that, if possible, it would require CSS customization to alter this behavior on the static front page.

Most themes do not display posts on the static front page, unless a certain template (Showcase, Front Page, etc.) is chosen. Certainly it is unusual for the static front page with the default template assigned to display posts. The easiest thing to do would be to switch to another theme.
