How to Backup a Single Post – Not the Whole Blog
-
I’ve got a blog that I recently backed up. But for some reason the blog size ballooned to almost ten times the size of a backup that was just a little bit older.
In fact, I have a backup that only has three posts less and yet is almost ten times smaller in file size than the current backup.
Therefore, I figured if I simply replaced the blog with the older backup and then just redid the three blog posts then my blog would be in much better shape.
NOTE: It’s likely my blog was hacked a while back and this may have been the cause for the massive file size.
Any options for handling this would be useful to me. Possibly even finding a way to delete any excess files that caused this massive increase in file size.
Went from 38.7MB to 338MB
Thank you,
Roger
