How to block sending email notices…

Greetings, A total beginner here – While editing my posts, I’ve inadvertently hit the Publish button which sends my blog to subscribers. I thought I learned this lesson but did it again this evening. I deleted it before I realized what I’d done so that my subscribers have the post but it’s now not there…’feel like such an idiot.
Is there anyway to shut off emails to subscribers so I can post the properly edited blog?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

They have to shut off the notifications themselves; there’s a link at the bottom of each email to click to block future emails.

Thankyou for your reply – so if I understand this correctly, when I post the edited blog,they will get yet another notice unless they’ve deactivated the emails.

I probably haven’t articulated this properly, but thank you for your time and attention.
I completely deleted the post before realizing what happened. So when I post again, I think they’ll get another notice. Oh well, good thing they’re friends…Thanks again.

No, I understand. They only get one notice. The notice only goes out once per post, no matter how many times you edit or re-post it.
