  You can kick-start your blogging by creating and writing posts! In the left sidebar of
  the Dashboard, you’d see the Posts row. Hover over it and click on Add New to create a post and start writing.

  @bickybisht, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

  If you purchased hosting on Hostgator, you will want to use the WordPress.org version.
