how to build a complicated website

    I want to design a website that sells fine art online. I have to have artists download large files, have multiples pages, sell their work, feature artists, show images larger when you click on it and even show it in a room framed. I need to have articles featuring artists. Can I do all that in wordpress? What software programs do I need to learn? wordpress, html, javascript? Shall I join Lynda.com to learn this. I have a design/photography background and know photoshop,indesign. Please advise. (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    You can do all of that in WordPress. You cannot do it here at WordPress.com. Go to WordPress.org for that.

    I recommend you hire someone if you have zero knowledge of WP, HTML, or javascript. Your project is not a simple one.
