How to change domain name?

  I changed the name of my blog, which means my URL/domain name now doesn’t reflect the blog name. How do I alter the URL to reflect this change? Originally I called my blog changingsport.com. I wish to change it to hearusroar.com, if it is available.

  Hi there,

  When you buy a domain upgrade, you’re registering that exact domain name to use with your site. If you’d like a different domain name instead, you can cancel the domain you bought (for a full refund within 48 hours of registering it) and then register a new one to replace it.

  To cancel your domain, you can go to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard and use the “Cancel and Refund” link there. Please let me know if you’d like me to cancel that for you. However, note that canceling a domain name means that you give up ownership of it entirely and may not be able to register it again in the future. (If you think you might want to use it again later or with another site, you can keep it and just register another domain in addition to the one you already own.)
