How To Change Domain Name and Keep Rankings in Google ?

  I am planning to change my domain name and use the redirect option to make it easy on my readers but I am concerned I will lose my well-earned Google ranking. Is there a way to address this?

  There can be a drop in google rankings with a URL switch. But typically it is a temporary drop that corrects itself.
