How to change domain name to Site URL

    Hey,
    So I bought a domain name on godaddy and got myself hosting with alidropship. I changed the name servers and linked the domain name with the hosting.
    The URL, which i got from the hosting for my WordPress Login was something with uffxyz.alisrv.com. Now I want that my site URL is my domain name but whenever I change in Settings from WordPress my site URL to my domain name it says Server not found. It also doesn’t work redirecting my main domain to the domain name from Godaddy. If i typ my domain name in google it just says ‘not found’

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
