how to change free primary domain site without losing my posts

  Hello, is it possible to change prang256222875.wordpress.com to the new name (like pprangw.wordpress.com) without losing the exisitng contents? I’m not really sure about it. And do people get accessed to new site from the old site name if I have posted that link somewhere? Please help clarify this, thank you.

  We have a few ways to add a custom domain to your site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#add-a-domain-name

  It won’t affect your site’s content at all, it will all just appear as the new domain instead.

  Once you change your site address, prang256222875.wordpress.com will no longer be available. Did you want to add a custom domain instead?

  Does it mean I can’t connect to my content in previous site address if I change its name? (for free) I’m really not sure about this.

  Hi there!

  Basically, if you change the site address, you won’t be able to reuse the address rang256222875.wordpress.com in the future or undo this change. But the content that’s currently on that site will automatically move to the new address after you change the site address.
