How to change my user name and nickname?

  I’m sorry that this is complicated, so I’ll make it in 2 parts though I’ll be brief:

  1. I recently subscribed to barenakedislam.com (which is under the WordPress.com). I want to change at http://barenakedislam, my user name and nickname, and was told to do it here at WordPress.com where I’m just lost!!! :)

  2. Here, (WordPress.com), I found that I must have subscribed a long time ago with the user name: Rosedala.

  I’m confused as to where and how I can make these 2 changes? Also, if i change it here at WordPress.com, will it get automatically updated at the http://barenakedislam? Or should I do this change in both sites?

  Thanks raincoaster but I don’t have a URL. If you refer to the blue URLs, I accidentally omitted the .com on the 2 last ones but the first one is complete.

  No, I mean http://barenakedislam.com does not appear to exist at all.

  Oh…I’m sorry, I should have used the link with WordPress in it, so I went to the site and here is the link:

  http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com/2011/11/21/warning-all-butterball-turkeys-are-halal-slaughter-certified/

  It seems WordPress has already changed my user name since I saw it in the notification, but the problem is whether it was also changed at the above site.

  If you changed it on your Profile then it won’t change retroactively on your old posts as far as I know.

  Thank you again! :) Now I’ll have to struggle in the barenakedislam site to make the change there. I don’t know why certain sites are so complicated to navigate…

  …forgot to ask, how can I see which of my 2 email names is being used here since I’m not too sure whether the change has been made? I know I said I believe the change was made because I saw the avatar…but not sure. Thank you. Rosedala

  Hello again riancoaster and I’m sorry to still needing your help!

  I very definitely made the changes I needed in the website: http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com/, but when I tested it to see if my new nickname, email address and the avatar were on….it wouldn’t get sent, and additionally, underneath the space for Reply it says:

  “Rosedala: You are commenting using your WordPress.com account.”

  It seems both these sites are entangled. Yes, a long time ago I subscribed to WordPress under Rosedala. But when I made the changes INDEPENDENTLY in this other http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com/ website, why would WordPress interfere like this?

  So far my new avatar is the only thing that works perfectly in both sites.

  Should I delete completely my account at WordPress to see if I can make the changes once and for all, at the http://barenakedislam.wordpress.com/ site??? Not necessary to make the changes here at WordPress.com. Please do help me once more.
