How to change screwed up email verification so I can use WordPress?
-
I can’t change my email address because the original address auto wrote.com at the end. It should be (email visible only to moderators and staff) not.COM. I can’t verify an address that doesn’t exist.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

exactly how long does it take to do an email address change? I’ve been assured by another member on Twitter that your avg response time is 5 minutes. >:| It’s been a lot longer than that, AND he even tagged it for me. It’s also my 2nd message. The first was yesterday. I’m becoming convinced that fixing problems due to errors on your site is reserved for paying members only, not for those just starting out or with no money to spare, let alone $80 just for a stupid theme. I’ve made this broadly known on Twitter to everyone from Occupy to Anonymous… so, what I need to know is: Am I wrong in assuming that people without the money to buy your services don’t get support? I enjoy reading many WordPress blogs, so, I’m hoping the answer is no. I would rather not use Blogger because it’s Google’s and I’ve always respected WordPress. There are other options.

No.
The average response time in the forum is five minutes. I flagged this thread once you answered me on Twitter.
I told you that staff would take care of it within a few hours. When you re-post to the thread, you bump your request to the back of the line, as staff go from oldest unanswered threads to newest ones. You just made this look brand new, and you will have to wait a few more hours now.

Hi there,
I see that you entered a new email address in your account settings. That sends a confirmation email to the new email address. You’ll need to click on the link in that confirmation email to complete the email change on your account.
If you don’t see that confirmation email in your inbox at the correct email address, please check your spam/junk folder there.
