How to change the adress of my blop

  Hello
  I’ve registered my domain for $18. Previously, I had a blog with wordpress. It was kfk230.wordpress.com. After I registered my domain, I wanted to change it so the address is kulsoomkhan.com. However, I wasn’t able to do so and it’s stuck at kfk230.com. Please let me know how I can change the URL. Thanks.

  Hi Kulsoom,

  When you register a domain name, you’re registering that exact domain name to use with your site. Once a domain name is registered, there isn’t a way to change it. You registered the domain name kfk230.com.

  If you’d like, I can cancel that domain name for you and give you credit to register the domain name you want. Please confirm if you’d like me to do that for you.

  Thanks for getting back to me. I just want the URL of my blog to be kulsoomkhan.com. Please cancel the domain I currently have and I’d appreciate it if you could give me instructions on how to register the domain name to be kulsoomkhan.com. Thanks again.

  Sure thing! I cancelled the domain kfk230.com for you and gave you credit to register the domain you want. You can do that by following the steps in this guide: Register a New Domain
