How to claim deleted wordpress.com site

  Hi, I recently tried to change my wordpress.com domain name but it said the one I wanted wasn’t available. I checked the desired url and it said the user had deleted the site.
  How do I go about claiming that url?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If someone deletes a WordPress.com site address they (and only they) have a 30 day window to recover it. Once that point has passed the address becomes unavailable forever for them or anyone else. Perhaps you could choose a similar address or upgrade to a paid plan and have your chosen wording with a different suffix to WordPress.com.

  Thanks for the quick reply. That kinda sucks to make the url unavailable forever, can’t really go for anything else as need it to match social media profiles etc
