how to convert category into page

  When I started to set up my blog instead of pages have created categories, which I have added to my menu. For each category I already have some posts.
  Question how can I convert categories into pages or replace categories with pages in the way that in the meanwhile I’m not loosing the already published posts? Guidance much appreciated!

  The Americas and Apac menu items link to category pages. A Category Page is a dynamic page which displays every post assigned to a certain category.

  Changing the menu items so that they link to static pages instead of category pages is possible, and it will have no effect upon the posts themselves at all because menus are just groups of links. It may have an effect upon the ability to access your posts, depending upon what you put in the static pages to replace the category pages.

  The easiest way to achieve your goal would be to do as follows:
  1. If necessary, create pages that correspond with those menu items that are linked to category pages.
  2. Delete the menu items linked to category pages.
  3. Create new menu items linking to corresponding pages. See the Additional menu items section of the Custom Menus support page.
