how to create a wordpress business account

    Hi
    I am purchasing a WordPress.com Business Account.
    The purpose for this is to create a forum and ’embed’ it in my existing website lightingstyle.com.au using a CNAME redirect so that the forum has the URL forum.lightingstyle.com.au
    When I create my WordPress site I have the option of creating it as
    something like: name-forum.org
    Or
    nameforum.wordpress.com
    Which one should I create it as, for a CNAME redirect?

    Hi there, yes, you can map a subdomain of a domain that you own to a site hosted here at WordPress.com. To do that, you would only need to first off, create a free site, such as nameforum.wordpress.com.

    To map a subdomain to that site here, you would need one of our Plans, such as the Personal, Premium or Business, all of which include the ability to map domains and subdomains to a site here.
