How to deactivate the upgrade.

    My photos have recently been automatically compressing and I’ve tried everything to modify them but it’s not working. Very frustrating. People online are saying it’s because of this WordPress upgrade. How do I deactivate it and go back to normal?

    Hi there, let me try to help.

    The only upgrade I see on your account is the No Ads upgrade, which prevents WordPress.com ads from being displayed. That would have no effect on the quality of your images.

    When you say your photos have been “automatically compressing” would you mind explaining in more detail what you mean?

    Could you show me a few examples of images that don’t look right so I can take a look?

    Do the images look the same in a different browser?
