WordPress.com can’t and won’t delete articles on demand. That site is onwned by https://wordpress.com/forums/users/lvgmvui/. Log out from current and log in again with the username lvgmvui
-
That is not possible as we do not know the password and email address, is was a free WordPress project of more then 10 years old!! How to delete the article!?
-
Hey,
You can use the account recovery form, which lets you prove ownership of the account another way: wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery -
-
is more then 10 years ago where to find those emails or verifications? We need to take down that article please
-
Without a way to verify ownership, WordPress.com can’t grant access to the account.
If the site contains personal information, it can be set to private so it’s no longer visible to the public or search engines.
-
But I cannot enter it and how can I show ownership. Can the schools send you document or something else?
-
You don’t actually need to prove ownership of the account for the staff to make the site private. I’ve flagged this thread for staff review.
-
Ok, thank you! If the staff make the site private it will not show online anymore correct. It will still exist on WordPress but will not show online? I hope to hear from you and thanks again for your help!
-
Yes — when the site is set to private, it disappears from public view and search engines.
Google and other search engines can hold onto a cached copy for a while after the original is gone, so the article might still appear in results for a short period. If you need it removed faster use Google’s Refresh Outdated Content tool once the site is private. Submit the article’s URL there and Google will usually drop it from results within a few days.
Staff will reply on this thread (or reach out by email) once they’ve reviewed. It may take a couple of days — they’re working through requests and will get to yours
-
Thank you very much for the information. I am looking forward to hear from the staff. Thanks again for your support!

Hi @saidaelbab4895d9b08! I’ll be happy to help you with this.
If I understand correctly, you’d like to regain access to your old account but weren’t able to complete our account recovery process, and you’d like to request to make your site private, right? Please feel free to correct me if I misunderstood.
If that’s the case, I’ll be reaching out to you via email so we can continue assisting you privately from there.

Hi @elcristofue, I hope you are doing well. Yes, please that is correct.
Thank you so much. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
