how to delete edit button on pages

    My website is live but I notice there is a link on the bottom of each page ‘edit’ and it allows anyone looking at the website live to click on it which opens a page for editing. How do I get rid of that. Do I have a setting wrong please?

    You and onlu ypu see tht button because you are logged in to wordpress.com as the owner of that site. Other visitors don’t see that button. You can check it yourself by visiting your site from an incognito browser.
