How to delete the 'Leave a Reply' below my page?

  Hi there,

  I was wondering whether it is possible to delete the add comments/Leave a Reply box from below my page on the site?

  Hi there!

  You can close comments on a page by opening the editor and scrolling down to the Discussion module. Uncheck the box next to ‘Allow comments’:

  

  If you don’t see the Discussion module, click on ‘Screen Options’ at the top of the page and check the box next to ‘Discussion.’

  Thank you for your reply!

  I tried your suggestion and unchecked the ‘Allow users to post comments on new post’ button in the Discussion.

  Unfortunately, the post comment box is still there on the site still :( is this a default thing on the blog theme I chose maybe (Book Lite)?

  So far I am only able to change the text from ‘Leave a Reply:’ to ‘Share your thoughts’… any thoughts?

  Hi there!

  It sounds like you changed your default comment setting for new posts through Settings > Discussion.

  In order to turn comments off on a page that’s already been published, you’ll need to edit that specific page, like you would if you wanted to update the title of the page. There you can follow the directions I gave you above.
