  How to disable “Formatting Shortcuts”??

  It is irritating! I want a “1.” at the front without some smart alec script changing everytime!

  Hey benlowlow,

  You must be referring to the recent WordPress.org update to 4.3. I’m sure someone will develop a plugin that will make it easy to disable this new feature, but in the meantime, you can use the code snippet that I found in the WordPress.org support forums to disable that functionality.
