How to display length of article?

    How do I add the subtext to the display of each article on the home page that shows how long it will take to read it?

    Hi there, that is something that cannot be added with CSS. CSS is a styling document used by browsers to style and position the elements of a web page and cannot be used to add functionality.

    It would require adding PHP or Javascript programming to the theme files, and we cannot edit those at WordPress.com.
