How to edit the homepage

    I am not sure how to edit the content on our front page. In the ‘Customize’ tab, there is no option to edit the content

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted by inmotionhosting.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

    You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.

    I’d also encourage checking the theme documentation to see how to edit the homepage. You probably have a page called Home in your WP Admin → Pages. But if you can’t find it, please refer to your theme documentation or reach out to the theme support for help with editing the content of the homepage. (Theme support is important here because different themes have different ways of editing the content on the homepage.)
