How to export posts from wpdotcom to my new blog

    Hello, I have had a new blog and I want to export my post from wpdotcom to it now and I can’t do it. When I downloaded the export file and came to import it to my that new site, it showed me am error message which I couldn’t understand. Please I need your help. Below is screenshot of the error notification received.
    Note: I have earlier Exported one article in the first day and after I can’t export all of them even one as well. error notification received

    Hi there,

    What site are you exporting from, and what site are you importing to?

    Based on your screen shot you’re importing to a stand-alone WordPress site hosted somewhere else. We have no control over that site, and no control over its importer.

    If you got a .zip folder from the WordPress.com export, make sure you unzip that and import the .xml files inside it instead. .zip folders cannot themselves be imported to a WordPress site.
