How to get featured image in the reader?

  I use oxygen theme, uncustomised. I have set featured images for my two posts so far, and the images I chose do appear on my home page (teaisfortravel.wordpress.com), but they don’t appear on the reader – only text is shown there.

  How can I get the featured images onto the reader?

  I have the same problem (my theme is Splendio). Featured image doesn’t appear on Reader, just text.
