How to get my computer to extract the Posterous backup files?

  The computer I am using will not let me extract my backup files from Posterous so that I can access the .xml file for export to wordpress.

  Hi there – your Posterous export folder is provided as a Zip folder.

  Here’s some information on how to extract Zip files in different versions of Windows:

  XP
