How to get rid of the unwanted standard header image?

Suddenly overnight one of the standard header images in the theme I’m using (Vintage camera) just turned up on my blog, without me doing anything to get it there and it’s impossible to get it away. Despite that I’ve pressed the button for taking away the header image (I’m only using a background image, not using any header image) it insists on staying on the page. I can change the picture to another one, but when I choose to “take away header image”, the standard image is there again. How do I take it away from my blog?
