How to get started with Word Press?

I already accidentally signed up for a blog, but I want to pay for the website hosting and design my companies website not have a blog. Where can I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Free software http://wordpress.orgWordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

When I go to sign up for an account with WordPress to pay for the website hosting service, my email is already assigned to the blog I accidentally signed up for yesterday and will not let me sign up for a new account using the same email? Do I just need to upgrade me service?

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate. This is not an upgrade issue at all.

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
