How to get the correct URL to show in the url bar after mapping.

This is my issue.
I have mapped charlesanne.com from godaddy to charlesanne.wordpress.com and it is working fine, except when you type in the url charlesanne.com, it goes to my wordpress but then the url changes back to charlesanne.wordpress.com in the url bar. I would like it to still read charlesanne.com.
What am I doing wrong?
