Are you referring to this portion of the Sela demo?
If so, you’ll need to follow the setup guide, setting your front page to be a static page and assigning it to the Front Page template.
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sela/
Once that’s set up, you can add widgets to the First, Second, and Third Front Page Widget areas. The demo site displays three text widgets in those areas.
Let me know if this helps you get your site looking like what you want.

Thanks for the link to your site. Because you’re running a self-hosted site I don’t have access to your dashboard to see how you’ve set up your widgets.
Looks like you’ve been experimenting – just a moment ago I saw one text widget on your site, but now it’s gone, did you remove it?
Here’s where you should be adding the three text widgets. I opened up one example to show you what the demo looks like:
If you need further help, could you please start a new thread over in the Sela forum at WordPress.org and we’ll continue troubleshooting over there? (These forums are for folks hosted here at WordPress.com.)
