how to have an email list opt-in widget on my company website?

    Hi there – I need a widget to allow viewer’s of my website (I’ve made my wordpress blog a website) to enter their email addresses in order to receive direct emails about future events and offers. The only thing like this I can find is the ‘follow blog widget’, which doesn’t really work because I don’t receive the email addresses to put directly on my lists and anyone who signs up gets an email from wordpress saying they’ve signed up to follow this blog – which is confusing for them. Thanks for your help :)

    We don’t really have anything for that. If you’re using a third-party list manager, you could link over to that.

    Another alternative would be to create a page with a contact form that people fill out to give you their email address.
