How to I get rid of the mess on my site?

    Everything is a mess with my blog site so how do I go about fixing it?

    I hadn’t been on that site for a long time. But when I was told by my publisher that they would like me to have a WordPress blog, I went to look at mine. It had a date of July 2011 on it, but it had something that I’d written on Facebook about my latest book having just been released. That book wasn’t even written in 1011. And it just came out about eight weeks ago. I put that info on Facebook, but I did not put it on WordPress. So how did it get there? I finally managed to delete that. Then the current date came up on it. But now I don’t know how to proceed.
    Since I had never really used the site, and couldn’t remember how it worked, I finally gave up on it. I want to add a lot of photos (is that possible?) And also text for two subjects. One, my latest novel, and two, my Polymer Clay designs. Not sure how to go about doing this.
