How to I post a permanent statement about my blog being copywrite protected?

  i have noticed some other blogs on wordpress.com have a box on the gavatar or the blog theme page that has a statement about the content being the property of the author and unauthorized use is prohibited. How can I get that statement on my blog too?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Put it in a text widget in the sidebar or footer. And be sure to disable reblogging of your site. I think that’s on the Settings->Sharing page.

  i was able to disable the reblog, and I found the widget menu and created a widget for my purpose, but it is not showing up in the footer of my blog cover page. that is where i want it to show up. How can I get it to do that?
