How to increase .php

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi there, I’ve just started using wordpress and I’m trying to add Elementor Pro as a plugin but it’s saying there is not enough space on the website. Could you please add more space or advise me on how to create more space on the site? I’ve tried everything and can’t seem to figure out how to increase the backend. I’m just going down rabbitholes.

Your assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Regards,
    Adam

We can’t help you as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. Regarding your problem, you must contact support of your hosting.

Hey mate, it is on wordpress, is it something I can fix inside of the platform?
    Thanks for your help :)

  • Hi there,

We’re limited in how we can help because we don’t house your site on our managed WordPress.com hosting service. Your host (IONOS) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Because of this we don’t have access to your server files, or the ability to take a closer look at your site.

As @staartmees has suggested, I would first check with your host to make sure that you are not in fact out of space on your hosting account.

If you are not, the error message you are seeing is not likely related to space but to some other plugin conflict. If that is the case you can get the best help from the folks who run the variant of WordPress that your site is using. You can find them here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
