how to launch my website to go live

  Hi WP

  I have built my site on your platform and registered my domain name with Only Domains and now want to publish but dont know how to.

  This is what Only Domains asked for from you:
  Ask WordPress support how they want you to connect your domain to their website. They will likely give you nameservers to delegate to, something like ns1.wordpress.com and/or ns2.wordpress.com. If they give you a CNAME or A-type DNS records instead, that is also fine; please confirm the details they’ve given you.

  Once I have this then O.D. asked for:
  Because WordPress do not have the records required to connect your domain to the emails you have hosted with us, you will need the following DNS records — you may be able to install them yourself at WordPress.com, or WordPress’ support team can install them for you by request:

  the email address I have is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi

  So I went through the list Only Domains sent me and think I managed to do the email, will this connect to the contacts page and send me an email through the registered email address? I then tried to publish the site to go live but it is not working as yet. Is there a way to check the status of it? Also I cant see the site any more through ‘view site’ option next to WP Admin.

  I’m not sure that I understand what you are asking here. Can you elaborate?

  I am not having any trouble seeing your site at http://rustyfundi.com/ Are you still not able to see it?

  Yes the web site was working earlier but is now going back to 404 error page.

  Any suggestions?

  I’m still not having any trouble seeing it.

  Perhaps try clearing your browser’s cache and seeing if that helps.

  Tried clearing my browser’s cache and it is still not coming up. The strange thing is that it is working on 2 out of 5 of my friends computers….

  I asked a number of my colleagues across the world to check it out and none had trouble getting to your site.
