How to make a new page and not have it add a button above header in Mistylook
-
I want to make a static page for the Home page. But how do I do this? I have to associate the home page with a specific static page so then I make a page for home. But then it will appear again at the top. How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance.

You just make the static page a sub-page of some other page; then it won’t show in the header.

Misty Look theme won’t put tabs at the top for sub-pages but it will
automatically provide a link to sub-pages (child pages) on the parent page and you can’t edit them out. You can use the Pages widget to exclude showing the sub-pages links in the sidebar though. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ -
oh because I’m having trouble making a static page for the home page. I had no choice but to make it a subpage under About. Is that the only option?
