How to make a query loop only display some but not all blog posts?

    I would like to have separate pages for two different types of blog posts, one for travel and one for politics. However, when I add a blog post query loop, it displays all of my blog posts regardless of if they are travel related or politics related. How can I make a query loop only display certain blog posts?
