how to make continue reading?

  hi can u guys help me. I wanted to see on my page a featured image on my post with excerpt on it and readers would just click continue reading

  Hi there, you can either add the More Tag manually in each post where you want it, or you can go to Customize > Content Options and under “Blog Display, select Post Excerpt and the WordPress software will automatically use a summary of the first 55 words on all posts.
