How to make featured posts appear on home page?

    Hey guys,

    I am a total newbee to wordpress, hosted my travel blog with a different provider before, so please excuse my weak knowledge (and my English).
    I have imported my old blog now and created a slider with featured images of blog posts I recommend (at least I am trying).
    So far, it went pretty well, but the posts that are previewed are not shown on my home page anymore.
    I already read it is meant to be like this, but I would like to still keep the featured ones on my home page.
    Can anyone help me?
    The simpler the answer, the better ;) I am not yet very familiar with CSS…

    This is not a CSS issue. You can’t make the theme function like that if it isn’t built that way, I’m afraid. There is nothing you can do to force it to show the posts on the front page. Perhaps there are other themes that don’t do this.
