How to make Posts Screen Options apply to existing posts?

    I’d like to remove the display of Tags and Author from the display of all posts. I set the Posts Screen Options to do this and it works on new posts. The display of existing posts still displays Tags and Author.

    I tried editing existing posts and updating them. The Tags and Author still display.

    Any suggestions on how to remove the display of Tags and Authyor from existing posts, please?
