How to make the text shorter on your website?

  Now you see the whole text on my site. I only want to see a piece of it and that the readers have to click on it. How do you do that?

  Hi @mschreven, you can use a theme that shows only excerpts:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/excerpt

  Or you would be welcome to use the “read more” tag instead:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/
