hi, every time I add a new blog it shows up on my home page. I need to post blogs in the other pages I created, yet I don’t see how. I thought it would be so simple like when you add a new blog it should ask you in which page, or to hold and drop. figured it would work like folders and files in windows. but I cant figure it out at all. not seeing any options. please help. thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Blogs by default are configured to show new posts on the front page. This is your site’s main feed, and all new posts will always be added to the top of this feed. There is no way to prevent a post from appearing on that feed.

However, your site also has category feeds, and that’s what you need to use if you want to show different posts under different tabs in the menu, not pages as you currently have.

Edit the posts, and add categories to them based on what menu tabs you want to use to list them. Then go to My Site ->Customize ->Menus. If you already have a custom menu active, edit it, else create one.

Click on Add Items ->Categories, and select the categories you want to use from there. That will add links to the category pages in your menu, where people can view only the posts from that particular category.
