how to move content from one blog to another

  I have two blogs, but I’ve decided to consolidate. I want to move the content from one to the other. Is there a way to do that easily? I want to move the content from https://turningmuslim.wordpress.com/ to http://youramericanmuslimneighbor.com/ some posts have content I wouldn’t want to lose as well…

  Hi Danielle,

  You can export the content from https://turningmuslim.wordpress.com/ and then import it into http://youramericanmuslimneighbor.com/ to move it over there.

  To export your content, you can go to Tools > Export on your first blog. You can export all of the content on your blog by clicking the “Download Export File” button.

  Then, you can import that content by going to Tools > Import > WordPress on your other blog. There, you can upload your export file from the other blog to import all of its content.

  One more thing… Is there a way to notify followers that I’m moving the content? Those who haven’t subscribed by email…

  Hi Danielle,

  I would recommend publishing a post on the old blog at https://turningmuslim.wordpress.com/ about the move. That way, anyone who follows that blog will know they can subscribe to http://youramericanmuslimneighbor.com/ to continue following what you write. :)
