How to Optimize Images Without Losing Quality Using a Script?
-
Hi Community,
I’m looking for a script-based solution to optimize the images on my texture paint page. The images are already designed, but I want to reduce their file size while keeping the text, texture details, and overall image quality sharp. I don’t want to use any WordPress plugin for this.
Is there a PHP, JavaScript, ImageMagick, GD Library, or any other server-side script that can optimize images without causing pixelation or blurring? My goal is to improve page speed while maintaining the original quality of the Texture Paint images.
If anyone has implemented a similar solution or can share an example, I’d really appreciate your help.
Thanks!

Sorry, I forgot to include my page link in my previous post.
Here’s the page I’m referring to: https://www.paintingservices.ae/
Could you please review it and suggest the best script-based approach to optimize the images without affecting their quality or causing pixelation?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @adamjoones,
The site uses self-hosted WordPress, not WordPress.com. Ask your hosting provider whether ImageMagick and shell access are available. For help integrating this with the theme or upload process, use the WordPress.org support forums.
