How to proceed with domain mapping if my provider says it cannot change the DNS

    I wanted to map my wordpress site to a new domain name that I bought but have been informed by my provider Alfahosting GmbH that I cannot change the DNS entries. They asked me to ask you for an alternative. Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    The only way to map a domain name to WordPress.com is by changing the domain’s name servers to use the WordPress.com name servers. That’s the only reliable method we can support.

    If your current domain registrar won’t let you change the domain’s name servers, I’d recommend transferring the domain name to a different registrar that allows it.
