How to put up an under construction page without a plugin

    Hi everyone,

    I have the Oxygen theme and do not have an account that lets me use plugins. Is there a way to put a holding page or “under construction” page live instead of my site without plugins?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    There’s no way to do this on WordPress.com, no. The closest you can get is to set a static front page on your site with a Under Construction message, and to disable the menu on your site by setting a blank custom menu as the site’s menu so your posts and pages cannot be accessed unless someone knows the direct link to them.
